NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we had been celebrating record-breaking number of Israeli tourism entries every month.
In line with in the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourism numbers in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world including 969,600 from the United States, and since the country's official opening to everyone regardless of their the status of their vaccination in May of this year Israel has witnessed over 600,400 US visitors.
